Although I kinda don't feel the whole "good hits" when it comes to Tera. I mean, I played RaiderZ, and some hits can just stumble people or knock people on their arses. Vindictus had some really painful sounded crunches, and you can even use the environment (source engine and all that). Granted, the former feels like a drag since I'm behind the group that I was playing with, and the later can be a grindfest.


And don't even get me started on the quests. If things don't change up, it's just "go here, talk to this guy, kill a few monsters..." that feels like it just wants to just take you by the hand around the world.


Granted, the world is pretty nice, and trippy when .

To date, my favorite combat system is still, beyond any shadow of a doubt, the one in Dark Souls.

Visceral, tactical, and just plain brutal. *shiver* My kind of fun.

That reminds me, one of the few things that disappointed me in Fallout: New Vegas was the general lack of man-whores. I mean, you'd think there'd be a market for that. I can only think of two, although one has retired and the other you recruit.

Kjelle with armsthrift and a a forged spear is like having a literal tank with unlimited ammo in medieval times.


A tank that seems to proc sol in every single strike ever to heal that 4 damage she probably took after facing off a entire army.

Started a low level run of Etrian Odyssey 3.

It seems by virtue of playing the game at an absurdly low level, you finish the game at an exceptionally fast rate. Naturally, I have a route for this, but it does take some precision to make it work, and it is of utmost importance that the correct characters get the correct amount of EXP.
