Also, I just realised I said "here" as if I still lived there. (Does it count that I'm like five hours from Winnipeg?) I guess I'll always consider myself a Canadian.

That's okay. I still don't consider myself a Virginian or think of this place as "home" I always say things like "back home" or "I'm going home for my brother's wedding"

And when we were traveling on the anniversary trip and people asked where we were from, we'd say "Oklahoma" without even thinking about it

Also helps that my driver's license, car tag, and a bunch of other stuff is all still for Oklahoma
