What anime are you currently watching?

I brought up Canaan since Type-Moon did it, not because it was like KnK or anything. Fate isn't bad but it suffers a bit from the adaptation not being too great. I'm reminded I still need to see UBW and see if that fared any better. Uh oh, now I'm anti-hyping myself for Fate/Zero...

As for Action, I don't mind action for action's sake if it's at least done well. Half-assed action scenes are just disgusting to watch. Story is still paramount, sure, but I don't mind a brain-off visual delight occasionally.

I just watched Karigurashi No Arrietty. A very sweet and touching movie. Very pretty also, especially in HD, and the music and sound were good too. Really another superb Ghibli movie. The character designs were very recognizably Ghibli, as well as the overall style of the movie of course. They may finally have found a suitable successor to carry Studio Ghibli after Hayao Miyazaki's retirement. It'll be interesting to see how Kokuriko-Zaka Kara, Goro Miyazaki's second movie, fares.

Personally, Nichijou took too long to get interesting and the gags aren't actually that funny. Then again, I saw the gifs of the episodes prior to watching the episode and, honestly, the gifs of it are the only decent parts :/
