Also listed is the quests that require they be gathered up - (#) is how many, if none is listed then you just need one.

The monsters that drop the item are provided as well as the Item Points (IP) that provide them. Just note that though the guide may say Floor 6, not all IPs on that floor may provide that information. Check the guide for additional information. The same goes with the equipement listed that requires them. (#) is how many is needed to make that item, but that does not mean that is all that item might need to be made. Please check that guide for additional information.
